In times of stress we have the
tendency to look for serenity, peacefulness and a relaxing atmosphere after a
hard day’s work. The perfect companion would be a Ragdoll cat.
So what is a Ragdoll cat? It is a
breed of cat perfect for indoors so they would be a favorable
suggestion for a pet. People nowadays tend
to prefer dogs over cats because of their fluffy furs and appealing features
that you go crazy over for but as for the cat persons out there who loves to
preserve the peacefulness of their private space and would appreciate a loving
pet who always follows you everywhere you go then a Ragdoll cat will be a
suitable buddy.
How could such a thing emerge
A lot of people are oblivious of Ragdoll cats
mainly because it is a fairly new breed. It all started with Ann Baker the
person who started the Ragdoll legacy. In the 1960's she started Ragdoll by
breeding what was believed to be a white female Persian-type cat to a Seal
Point Birman. The offspring of the two breeds was then Breed to a Burmese and
this series of breeding has led to the emergence of the first Ragdoll cat.
Why of all the breeds?
Cat persons basically want to conserve the harmony
of their space drifting away from unnecessary noise. Ragdoll cats are
loved by cat breeders because of their friendly nature towards people as well
as their soft and silky fur. They are not the typical type of cats that you see
because these cats grow larger than other cats.
They have these cute features that attract people
like their fluffy furs and rounded eyes so when you look at it’s as if they are
so hard to ignore. Its appearance says it all they tend to be so irresistible
because they seem to be the perfect pet for you.
Ragdolls are playful in the gentle kind of way. Cats
are generally known to be calm and relaxed and this breed is known to have many
puppy-like attributes that make them endearing to pet lovers. Their docility is
their best characteristic and their appearance constitutes to the way people
expect them to be, which is loving and playful.
Not all cats yearn for human contact, Ragdolls tend
to be physically attached to their owners and that point seems to be very cute
in a way because it’s just similar on how a baby duckling always sticks around
his mommy duck. They like to be surrounded by people. If they don’t see anyone
in the room they tend to look for you and you’ll be stunned to see that they
are just standing right outside your bedroom door calling for your attention.
Another pro on why you should love this breed is
that you don’t need to give so much effort on keeping an eye on them, they
don’t eat your time. Cats can manage their own because they also have their
independent nature as well.
Having a pet will definitely change your life in a
diverse and good kind of way. The thought of actually having someone you can
play with and take care of makes your everyday existence somehow worth living,
life is not all about living for yourself it’s about making it more meaningful
by actually having to spend it with someone you have love for and pets have a
space in that circle.
