The
pitch has opened once again as stage 1 matches in preparation for the UFL (United
Football League) Cup on September 22.
The
UFL season ’12-’13, which will kick off on October 2 on December, released the
current line-ups for Division 1.
Nine
clubs already submitted their line-ups: Global F.C., Green Archers United F.C.,
Kaya F.C., Loyola F.C., Nomads F.C., Pachanga F.C., Pasargad F.C., Philippine Air
Force F.C., Philippine Army F.C. and Stallion F.C.
Season
’12-’13 and first time UFL champion Global F.C. had put newly signed defender
Demetrius Omphroy from Toronto F.C. and mid-season ’11-’12 transferee Denis
Wolf from FC Magdeburg.
Wolf
debuted as a forward in a friendly match against Malaysia which resulted to a
draw last February.
Two-time
(’09-’10 AND ’10-‘11) UFL winner and defending league champion Philippine Air
Force F.C. listed new transferees Mark Anthony Fernandez from Pasargad F.C. and
Neckson Leonora from Pachanga F.C.
After
winning the second division of the UFL, Pachanga F.C. has been promoted to
first division for this season.
’12-’13
will be the fourth season of the UFL.
Stage
1 matches will be held at the Army Support Command and University of Makati
Stadium.
